SSRV Series Stainless Steel Worm Gearbox Reducer
Technical Specifications
Ideal for industries such as food & beverage processing, pharmaceuticals, chemical handling, water treatment, automatic car wash systems, and marine equipment, the SSRV series combines the inherent self-locking advantage of worm gearing with smooth, quiet operation and easy-clean surfaces. Its compact footprint, high torque density, and maintenance-free design make it the go-to choice for engineers seeking reliability in challenging operating conditions.
Key benefits include:
Full stainless steel construction for maximum corrosion resistance
Compliance with hygiene standards (FDA, EHEDG-ready)
Self-locking functionality for enhanced safety in vertical applications
Low noise and vibration for operator-friendly environments
Lifetime lubrication for reduced maintenance costs

Output Shaft & Torque Arm
The SSRV series features a robust output shaft precision-machined from stainless steel, hardened and ground to ensure concentricity and wear resistance. Standard options include:
Solid shaft with keyway (ISO 286 tolerance)
Hollow shaft with shrink disc (for direct coupling to driven equipment)
Custom spline or tapered shafts upon request
Each unit comes standard with a stainless steel torque arm, designed to absorb reaction forces and prevent bending loads on the gearbox housing. The torque arm includes an adjustable bracket and a maintenance-free spherical plain bearing, accommodating up to ±5° misalignment during installation—significantly simplifying field alignment and reducing stress on mounting structures.
