    Internal Structure

    The ZLYJ gearbox operates as a two-stage or three-stage hardened parallel-shaft reducer:
    Input Stage: The motor drives the high-speed input shaft, which connects to the first-stage pinion gear.
    Intermediate Stage(s): Power is transferred through one or two intermediate gear sets, progressively reducing speed and increasing torque.
    Output Stage: The final gear drives the hollow output shaft, which is directly coupled to the extruder screw.
    Critically, the thrust bearing assembly—located inside the output housing—absorbs the massive axial force generated by molten plastic pressure pushing back against the screw.  This integrated design ensures that gear teeth only transmit torque, not axial loads, dramatically improving reliability.
    Lubrication is typically via oil bath or forced circulation, with oil splashed or pumped onto gear meshes and bearings to dissipate heat and reduce wear.

    Mounting Position

    The RC Series supports universal mounting orientations, offering maximum flexibility in machine design:
    Horizontal Mounting (M1): Output shaft horizontal, base-mounted—most common for conveyors.
    Vertical Mounting – Shaft Down (M2): Output shaft pointing downward—ideal for mixers or agitators.
    Vertical Mounting – Shaft Up (M3): Output shaft upward—used in lifting or vertical screw applications.
    Flange Mounting (B5/B14): Direct motor coupling without base—saves space and reduces alignment complexity.
    Torque Arm Mounting: For applications where the gearbox must resist reaction torque without rigid base fixation.
    Note: For non-standard positions (e.g., inclined), special lubrication arrangements (oil pump or grease fill) may be required to ensure proper gear and bearing lubrication.
